In order to navigate to the DNS Editor in Plesk, please follow the instructions below:

    1. Log into Plesk.
    2. Under Hosting Services, click on Domains.

  1. Find the domain to be edited, and click on the corresponding Control Panel link on the far right.
  2. Click the Websites & Domains tab.
  3. Click the DNS Settings link.
  4. Click on [Manage] to select the appropriate domain.

MX Records

To edit an MX record:

  1. Click on the existing MX Record under Host to edit.
  2. Change the Record type to MX (if necessary).
  3. Mail domain should be left blank.
  4. Set the Mail exchange server to the name of your mail server (for example test.test.com).
  5. Priority Number(s) would be provided by the party who gave you the mail exchange server; if not, very high(0) is fine.
  6. After making your changes, click OK.

A Records

To edit an A Record:

  1. Click on the existing A Record under Host to edit.
  2. Change the Record type to A (if necessary).
  3. For Domain name, put in the subdomain you want to host (if necessary).
  4. For IP Address, enter the IP of your desired server.
  5. After making your changes, click OK.

CNAME Records

To edit a CNAME Record:

  1. Click on the existing CNAME Record under Host to edit.
  2. Change the Record type to CNAME (if necessary).
  3. For Domain name, put in the subdomain you want to host (if necessary).
  4. For Canonical name, enter the name of your desired server.
  5. After making your changes, click OK.
