Log into your dedicated or cloud server as administrator.

Start

Click on: Administrative Tools

Under: Administrative Tools

Double click on: Windows Firewall with Advanced Security

Under: Windows Firewall with Advanced Security

Under: Windows Firewall with Advanced Security on Local Computer (Left Pane)

Right click on: Inbound Rules

Click on: New Rule

Under: New Inbound Rule Wizard

Click on: Port (Rule that controls connections for a TCP or UDP port)

Click on: Next

Click on: TCP

Click on: Specific Local Ports: (Ex:21) Open port for FTP

Click on: Next

Click on: Allow the connection

Click on: Next (Default)

Under: Name (Ex: FTPPort-21)

Click on: Finish
