Once connected to your Windows 2012 Server, follow these steps:
1. Position your mouse in the bottom right corner of the Remote Desktop screen of your Windows 2012 server.
2. Once the menu is visible, click on Parameters.
3. Click on Start/Stop.
4. Click on Restart.
Using a command with powershell
Open up Powershell and enter the following:
Shutdown /r
