Log into your dedicated or cloud server as administrator.

Click on: Start

Click on: Server Manager

Under: Server Manager

Click on: Dashboard (On left pane)

Under: Welcome to Server Manager

Click on: (2) Add roles and features

Under: Add Roles and Features Wizard

Click on: Next (Default)

Click on: Next (Role-based or features-based installation)

Click on: Next (Select a server from the server pool)

Fill in: DHCP Server

Under: Add Roles and Features Wizard

Click on: Add Features (Default)

Click on: Next (Default)

Click on: Install

Click on: Close

Under: Server Manager

Click on: Tools (Right top)

Scroll down: (Click on: DHCP)

Under: DHCP

Click under: DHCP

Arrow down: Computer Name

Right Click on: IPv4

Click on: New Scope

Under: New Scope Wizard

Click: Next (Default)

Add: Name* (Name of the scope for DHCP server)

Ex: CompanyDCHP

Add: Description (If needed)

Click on: Next

Under: IP Address Range

Add: Start IP address

Ex: 192.168.0.3

Add: End IP address

Ex: 192.168.0.30

Add: Length

Ex:24

Add: Subnet Mask

Ex: 255.255.255.0

Click on: Next

Click on: Next (Add Exclusions and Delay)

Click on: Next (Lease Duration)

Click on: Next (Configure DHCP Options)

Add: Router address

Ex: 192.168.0.1

Click on: Add

Click on: Next

Under: Domain Name and DNS Servers

Parent Domain: (ex: CompanyDHCP)

Server Name: (Ex: CompanyDHCP)

IP address: (Ex: 192.168.0.1)

Click on: Next

Click on: Next (Default)

Click on: Next (Yes, I want to activate this scope now)

Click on: Finish

Reboot to apply settings
