Symptoms

If an SRV record is present in the zone, the DNS zone is not updated due to this error:

Error: Incorrect DNS record values were specified.

Resolution

There are two possible solutions:

1.1. Disable synchronization with the domain’s DNS zone.
1.2. Add the SRV record to the domain alias DNS zone separately.

or

2.1. Disable synchronization with the domain’s DNS zone.
2.2. Add the SRV record to the domain’s DNS zone.
2.3. Enable synchronization with the domain’s DNS zone — the domain alias DNS zone is properly updated.
